14 Days of Valentines [2011] (day 14)

The Five Steps of Love:

One: Say it. When you say the words “I Love You”, it should carry with them the desire to show someone that you love them, not what you simply want to feel. When you say it make sure you really mean it and are willing to do anything for that special person
Second: Empathize. Put yourself in to their shoes, rather than try to control them. Instead try to understand who they really are and how they feel. Also realize how they could also love you back just as you are.
Third: Love unconditionally. If you can’t love another person without attaching stipulations, then it’s not love, but deep-seated opportunism (one who makes the most of an advantage, often unmindful of others). If you have no intention of improving that person’s life, or allowing that person to be themselves and accepting them for whom they are, and not who you want them to be, then you’re not striving to love them unconditionally.
Four: Expect nothing in return. It means that giving love doesn’t guarantee receiving love back. Try loving just for the sake of love and realize that your partner may have a different way of showing his or her love for you, so don’t expect to be loved back in the exact same way. But none of this means you allow someone to mistreat you or undervalue you.
Five: realized it can be lost. If you can realize that you can lose the one you love, then you have a greater appreciation of love and what you and your lover have. Think how lucky you are to have someone to love and but don’t make an IDOL of the person you love because that will put the under a lot of pressure and can likely result in you losing your partner.

Remember, even though you have been hurt in the past doesn't mean your not meant to be loved or to be love. It just means that this pasted person wasn't the one. So take some time to yourself and to brush of the past and then move on with a new vision for yourself. You have to go through the storm before you get to the sunny day. ONLY the strong one's survive. So which one are you??

I just love to see how couples who have been married/together (for the ones not married) for over 50 years and still be in love with each other. How they finish each other sentence or know what the other is thinking. That is truly a blessing that not many of us get a chance at. BUT my whole quote for this was is that i want y'all to go out there and find the one and to not settle for the first thing that walks through the door. Its a lot of rocky roads to find that one, but when you do, you will know. Because that will be the first person you think about when you wake up and the last before you go to bed, the one you would want to have your fights with, the one you want to share the good and the bad times with, the one you care about more then yourself. Now do get me wrong, after you find that person don't think that everything is going to be a smooth sailing. My parents have been married for over 33 years and let me tell you, they have had there bad times and good times but at the end of the day they still are in love with the each like they were when they were in college... maybe a little more now that they have had children and stuff haha.

Some time we over look love that is right in front of our faces because we are looking for someone that fits us and not the one that GOD (if you don’t believe in God just put high beaming there then) has picked perfectly to go with us… None of us are perfect and we should all remember that and we shouldn’t let something blind us from our true love.

14 Days of Valentines [2011] (Day 1)

And I say this to be true; you can't love someone if you don't know how to love yourself first. That is a must because if you don't love yourself how do you expect someone else too. Second, just because your ex's did you wrong like a dog and rolled around and kicked your heart a few times and then stabbed it (sorry y’all I get carried away a little hehe), doesn't mean you don't have a right to LOVE AGAIN!!! You do and when you find that out, that’s when the person will find you. I know us gals (lady if you don't know it by that haha) do that a lot and I can speak from personal experience, you don't want to be so mad and hurt from the last boyfriend (gf if your a guy) that yet let the new one get away because his/she is paying for what the last one did... And that’s all I’m going to say on that haha. I could take y'all to church but since we’re just starting this out i want to go a little soft on you hahah ;) Until tomorrow, I will talk to yall later.

Sooo Valentine's Day is coming!!!!

So today is the first day of my Valentines count down for 2011!!! I am sooo happy to be able to do this again. Soo for the ones who don’t know all ready all I do is post a little quote every day until Valentine’s Day about love. It’s about the ups and down of LOVE. Put this year I’m thinking of putting short stories (and I do mean short story) up here too. I hope y’all like and like always leave your feedback on here or twitter.
