Mr. Charles Thomas "Chuck" Close is an American painter and photographer who master alot of fame as a photorealist through his massive scaled portraits. He graduate from University of Washington with a B.A. and then went on to Yale University and got his M.F.A. Mr. Close suffers from Prosopagnosia (is a disorder of face perception where the ability to recognize faces is impaired, while the ability to recognize other objects may be relatively intact). Even though his art work changed after he found out that he had Prosopagnosia, they still remains same. He's also severely paralyzed from a catastrophic spinal artery collapse in 1988. Even though he has physical disabilities he is still one of the great artists of Amercia.
